Bloom Festival is set to bring the Great Southern region to life this spring, giving communities the opportunity to celebrate “everything that blooms” from Saturday, September 27, to Sunday, October 26.

Run by Great Southern Treasures—a Local Tourism Organisation representing eight shires in the region—the festival highlights the character of rural Western Australia and welcomes visitors from around the nation to experience the colour and culture of the region’s communities.

The festival spans the entire Great Southern region, reaching from Kojonup to Pingrup, out to Bremer Bay on the coast, and across to the Porongurup and Frankland River, while also encompassing key hubs like Katanning, the Stirling Range, and Fitzgerald River National Parks.

Attendees can enjoy events and activities across the region, including fauna and flora-themed activities, creative workshops, exhibitions, markets, Noongar cultural events, wine and dine events, live music, heritage trails, hikes and more.
