The award-winning Capel River Classic Show and Shine returns for its fourth year this spring with a celebration of classic and historic pre-2000 motorcycles and cars in Western Australia’s south-west forest country on Saturday, October 18.

The event is set to feature an off-road rally for pre-1980 motorcycles, a classic car show, a swap meet and overnight camping to complement the main attraction. Attendees can also participate in a class for unrestored high-mileage ‘survivor’ bikes or another for older custom bikes—including choppers and classic café racers.

The off-road rally will start and finish at 1688 Goodwood Road, and includes a choice of two routes through the Capel-Jarrahwood State forest; a long course of about 40km and a short course of about 10km, where riders can undertake multiple loops at their own leisure.

Recognised as the Shire of Capel Community Event of the Year for 2024, the show is an opportunity for enthusiasts and families alike to participate in the event’s activities while also enjoying live music from Sultans of Sound, local food vendors, a licensed on-site bar and more.
