After a successful 2025 event, the Toyota Land Cruiser Club of WA is set to host its annual 40 Series Classic Weekend once again, paying tribute to one of the most iconic 4WD vehicles—the 40 Series Land Cruiser.

The 40 Series Classic Weekend will return to the Old Coast Road Brewery, at Myalup, on Saturday, October 24, and is set to attract restorers, enthusiasts, adventurers, and classic cruiser lovers from all over the South West.

Attendees are encouraged to bring their 40 Series Land Cruiser to the event, where they can walk among a display of vintage 4WDs, with handcrafted brew options and local food on offer in a relaxed, family-friendly setting.

To celebrate the legacy of the Toyota 40 Series, this year the Toyota Land Cruiser Club of WA has partnered with ARB as the headline sponsor and with Shannons Insurance and City Toyota as supporting sponsors to strengthen prize offerings.

Prizes will be handed out for Best Original Restoration, with the ARB prize package to the value of $1,400.00; Best Modified Restoration, with the Shannons Insurance prize of $1,000.00; and People’s Choice, with a City Toyota prize to the value of $600.00.

The Toyota 40 Series, produced from 1960 through the mid-1980s, is renowned for its reliability as the backbone of remote transport across the Australian outback. It has become a symbol of adventure and simplicity, with a timeless design, for adventurers all across Australia.
